Intervention

One of the Lodi Unified School District goals is that every third grader read at grade level. We take this seriously at Creekside. This year our third grade students are offered iRead, a computer based reading intervention program, during class as well as after school.

Grade 4 - 6 students not meeting benchmark standards are also offered intervention in reading and math.

STUDENT BICYCLE SAFETY

We have been noticing several safety concerns for our bike-riding students.  It is very important for parents/guardians to be aware and to remind their children of the following:

-BICYCLE HELMETS are required by law.  Please make sure that if your children ride a bicycle or use a wheel-based transportation device, that they have the proper safety equipment.

-BICYCLE SECURITY is the responsibility of the students.  All students who ride a bicycle to school must lock them up to the bike rack.  It is the student's responsibility to provide a lock (with key that they keep) for their bicycles to prevent damage or theft.

VISITORS AND VOLUNTEERS

If you are coming onto school grounds during school hours, it is a district policy that all visitors and volunteers must come to the office to sign in and receive a badge.  We THANK YOU for your understanding and for your part in helping us to know everyone who is on campus so we can keep kids and staff safe and secure.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK

IN THE BUS UNLOADING AND LOADING ZONE

AS IT CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD

FOR OUR STUDENTS.

STUDENT SAFETY MESSAGE

Students are to arrive AT or AFTER 7:45 A.M.  Please do not bring them any earlier than 7:45 A.M. as there is no supervision until that time.  If your child is having breakfast, they need to line up on the edge of the (West parking lot) sidewalk at 7:45 and they will be taken to the cafeteria to eat.  If your child eats breakfast at home, he/she can line up against the (West parking lot) sidewalk fence at 8:00 and a teacher will take them to line up for classes.

Some parents are driving into the exit of the parking lot. This is illegal and dangerous! Please support us in maintaining a safe parking lot. Children do not always look before stepping out into the street.
